I always looked forward to my visits to see my Aunty Fran and Uncle Joe's at their cottage in Welton when I was in my twenties. A sherry on arrival and a whisky before lights out. Early Morning coffee and some easy listening to Terry Wogan on Radio 2. Arranged party evenings with the family whenever I was there. He was a firm but sincere and gentle man, nothing he would'nt do for you.  I loved the stories of his wartime flights and am very priviledge for him to have been my Uncle. You may have left us, but you will never be forgotten Joe xxxx.
